18 Jan 2012	A kept secret among vinyl lovers - the Auditorium 23 LP mat from Germany, is now available. We tested the mat on several turntables and were very impressed with the improvements in the tonality, soundstaging and depth. One of the most cost effective upgrades for any vinyl lover!
28 Dec 2011	After the successful launches of the Rogers 60th and 65th Anniversary LS3/5a, we have to bring in the complementary amplifier for these tiny marvels. We would like to introduce, or rather re-introduce the Rogers E40a full tube integrated amplifier! The original E40a was designed by AudioNote UK in the early 1990s for Rogers to partner the venerable LS3/5a speakers. We have now a 60th Anniversary unadulterated re-issue that uses the exact same circuit, right down to the built-in phono stage.

15 Feb 2011	The ProAc Response D38 has successfully been in production for nearly 8 years, but with new cone technology now available to ProAc, the decision was made to upgrade this model and hence, the new Response D40R was born. The new D40R now utilises two 6.5'' carbon fibre full range units to achieve a powerful and extended bass response. The new equalised vent was designed, using two billet aluminium rods between the cabinet and plinth which together with the drive unit frames are shaped and coated in a non-resonant material. Coming in Apr 2011!
10 Jan 2011	Just launched at CES 2011 - the ProAc K6! Following the successful incorporation of carbon fibre cone technology in the Carbon Pro Series, ProAc have been researching other materials for possible inclusion in their high end loudspeakers. The results of this research have come to fruition in the shape of the new K series which utilizes cones manufactured from Kevlar.

3 Nov 2010	We have been hunting for a good sounding and value for money USB DAC and we believe we have found a hidden gem. On demo now is the AudioNote DAC 0.1x. The first and only DAC in the AudioNote range to offer both coaxial and USB inputs, selectable via fascia mounted button. Internally, it is pure AudioNote, featuring a Philips TDA1543 DAC chip, 1x oversampling Direct from Disc technology and no digital filters. The analogue valve output stage utilizes a 6111WA miniature dual triode valve, Beyschlag precision resistors and AudioNote tin foil oil capacitors.

18 May 2010	We are expecting the next shipment of the Almarro A318B in Jun. This shipment will be the first to incorporate a new and improved power supply system which include among other upgrades, a new high current and wide bandwidth power transformer. All in all translates into better sound and more stable operation. MSRP remains at USD2500 despite upgrade! Watch this space for arrival......

25 Jan 2010	ProAc just launched a new speaker - the Carbon Pro 6 at CES 2010. The CP6 uses the same carbon fibre technology as the flagship Carbon Pro 8. Also announced, the Response D100 has been discontinued.

11 Jan 2010	Vimak's latest DT-300 tube output CD player has arrived in conjunction with its international launch. The DT-300 uses the top of the line Burr Brown 24/192 1794 DAC chip and a pair of WE396A tubes for IV conversion and analog output. No opamp in circuit path at all! The DT-300 also uses a state-of-the-art TXOS clock for lowest jitter. Transport is the reliable Philips CD 12.
4 Jan 2010	New Tektron 211 integrated amplifier arrived today. The new TK211S-I is a 3-stage design using the 6C4 tube for input, 71A as driver and a pair of GE VT4-C for a healthy output of 18Wpc. Fully tube rectified with a pair of NOS 5R4 and one EZ80. Transparent, lush and texturally rich are our first impressions; drives the big ProAc D38R effortlessly.
5 Nov 2009	We'll be debuting the Algahorn featuring Feastrex NF5 drivers at ISSE 2009, 6~8 Nov, ParkRoyal Hotel on Kitchener Road. Almarro and Tektron single ended amplification be will used; wired with Auditorium 23 cables. The system will be playing on the newly developed Algahorn isolation rack system. See you in Room 732!
